A pub near Basingstoke that’s teeming with natural charm
Named after a butterfly that flits over the Hampshire countryside, our cosy pub restaurant is full of rustic appeal, from its oak-beamed interiors to its wildflower-edged garden terrace. We’re located in Beggarwood, a village near Basingstoke, making us a perfect spot for leisurely lunches in our beer garden or a refreshing drink after a long tramp through the surrounding countryside.

The Hall & Woodhaus Alpine Bar is bringing the après-ski magic straight to Basingstoke. Enjoy delicious drinks, hearty food, twinkling lights, and an enchanting atmosphere surrounded by real fir trees.
Our Beers
Drink in the taste of the Dorset countryside by sampling our Badger beers, which were first brewed by local farmer Charles Hall in 1777. Created from hops, malted barley, and pure spring water that’s naturally filtered through the chalk downs of Dorset, they’re a firm favourite. At The Holly Blue, we offer a full, distinctive and delicious range, including our new Outland beers, which are imaginatively flavoured, and far from ordinary.
